Thanks to the collective efforts and engagement of concerned residents regarding traffic issues in the Silverthorn neighborhood, temporary changes are on the horizon for Kane Avenue during the ongoing Fairbank-Silverthorn Storm Sewer Upgrade. Please read below to learn more about the changes.
The City has announced the replacement of aging watermain infrastructure along Lawrence Avenue, ensuring a more reliable water supply for local residents and businesses. Additionally, the road resurfacing will lead to smoother and safer transportation in the area. You can read the entire notice in my news section below.
Join the Humber River Pals for a meaningful evening at Memorial Park as the Community comes together for a Sunset Clean Up and Docu Night. As the sun sets, the Community will work hand in hand to clean up and preserve the beauty of our cherished park, creating a cleaner and greener environment for all. Afterward, you may enjoy an inspiring documentary screening, and meet the creator of the film! Let's come together for this endeavor on July 29th and make a positive impact on our community and the planet.
This Sunday, please join me and the Masjid El Noor Community at Amesbury Park with friends, family, and neighbors from all walks of life to celebrate unity, diversity, and friendship. Between 1PM and 6PM, delight your taste buds with delicious BBQ treats, enjoy live music, and engage in a host of fun activities for all ages.
I want to pass a friendly reminder about the Mount Dennis Legion Branch 31 Memorial Service on Sunday, July 30th at Westlake Brothers Park. A group of 26 Citizens from France will read 6000 names of WWII's Canadian Fallen. If you would like to volunteer or are interested in attending, please see below.
