Community Environment Day
I would like to inform residents that I will be hosting my Community Environment Days in our Ward this year. Our first event has been scheduled for Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Amesbury Arena, located at 155 Culford Road, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Followed by the second event on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Amesbury Arena, located at 155 Culford Road, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. During these events, residents will be able to reuse, recycle and safely dispose of unwanted items, such as cell phones and small electronics, household hazardous waste, paints, solvents, glue, unused medications, batteries, e-cigaretts, propane tanks, pesticides, and fertilizers, fluorescent bulbs, and used cooking oil. Residents will also be able to pick up free leaf compost at a limit of two bags per household while supplies last and donate items in good condition. WE DID IT! I want to give a special thanks to the Mount Dennis Community Association Campus Development Committee for their hard work and determination. Virtual Public Information Event: Basement Flooding Protection Program
This summer, the City of Toronto will begin construction work to mitigate the impact of basement flooding in the Fairbank-Silverthorn area. On July 29, the City will be hosting a Virtual Public Information Event to provide residents with an overview of the project.
