Dear friends and neighbours,

This afternoon, the provincial government announced the rollout of their new vaccine certificate program. Under the program guidelines, vaccine certificates—along with a valid photo-ID—will be required for "higher-risk" indoor venues where masks cannot always be worn at all times. These spaces include:

  • indoor dining at restaurants and bars;

  • nightclubs, including outdoor areas;

  • meeting and event spaces (e.g. banquet halls);

  • fitness facilities and sporting events;

  • and more.

Vaccine certificate receipts will be used to confirm one's proof of double-vaccination and can be printed, saved on smartphones, or downloaded as a PDF. To access your vaccine receipt, click here. If you would like to learn more about the announcement, click on the vaccine certificate program, click here. Or, if you cannot open the PDF document, you can view the announcement at the bottom of the following CBC article.

The vaccine certificate program will take effect on September 22, 2021.

Stay safe and healthy.

Sincerely,
Frances
