Dear parents of York South—Weston,
As a reminder, the Government of Ontario's vaccine certificate policy came into effect this morning.
In to access certain "higher-risk" venues, individuals aged 12 and over will need to provide proof of vaccination. These venues include:
restaurants and bars (excluding outdoor patios, delivery, and takeout);
nightclubs (including outdoor areas);
recreation facilities and gyms;
concert venues, theatres, and cinemas;
To help make this transition as easy as possible, my office has prepared a vaccine certificate guide, which includes instructions on how to access your provincial vaccine certificates and answers to frequently asked questions.
