New and Modified TTC Service
Overview
TTC staff have conducted an evaluation of public transit needs in the City of Toronto as part of TTC’s 2022 Annual Service Plan (ASP). Through this process, staff are proposing new and improved public transit services within our ward in preparation of the scheduled opening of Line 5 Eglinton in 2022. This proposal includes new bus routes and changes to existing bus routes in vicinity of the new subway line in order to connect customers to Line 5 stations, improve journey times and service reliability, and to minimize service duplication along the Eglinton Ave Corridor.

Community Consultations
TTC staff engaged with customers in June and July 2021, and customers have been largely supportive of these proposals. After completing consultations with the community, the Annual Service Plan will be put before the TTC Board for approval.
The second round of public consultations was held on September 29, 2021.
