Road Conversion - Kane Avenue

Thanks to the collective efforts and engagement of concerned residents regarding traffic issues in the Silverthorn neighborhood, temporary changes are on the horizon for Kane Avenue during the ongoing Fairbank-Silverthorn Storm Sewer Upgrade. With construction for the Fairbank-Silverthorn Storm Sewer in full swing, I understand the importance of ensuring seamless accessibility for all residents. That's why, in response to numerous calls and emails from concerned community members, my office took action.

I have been in direct communication with City staff regarding the this project. After reviewing traffic concerns, I passed a motion in Etobicoke York Community Council to make sure that everyone can move around with ease during the construction phase. The vision behind this initiative is to create a safer, more accessible road network for Silverthorn residents.
