In its 17th year, the Grenada Day Festival is expected to be bigger than ever. Over 8,000 people attend each year from across the Grenada Diaspora, celebrating the culture and history of the island of Grenada, and its sister islands: Carriacou and Petite Martinique. The Grenada Day Festival is the largest global Grenada diaspora event which takes place in Toronto every summer. This year, the festival’s theme is “HEALTHY CHOICES HEALTHIER LIVES”, which commemorates more than 16 years of Grenada Day Cultural Association’s promotion of Grenada’s culture in Canada. Come out and enjoy the festivities Saturday, August 26 12-9PM.

The full day event includes a day of music, visual and performance artists, activities for children, arts and craft, a variety of vendors, and most notably the delicious signature dishes of Grenada. You can find full details below in the Community Events section. I hope to see you there!

I wish you and your family a warm weekend.

Sincerely,
Frances
