I am happy to share that all TTC riders may now use their Debit and Credit cards to pay for their fare on the TTC. This also includes any cards you may have on your smartphone or smartwatch devices. Gone are the days of having to find your misplaced PRESTO or waiting up to 24 hours for your reload of funds to complete. I also want to make you aware that students and seniors will need to continue using their PRESTO in order to receive their discount on TTC fares. For more questions please visit TTC.ca or reach out to my office.

Starting tomorrow, the biggest event of the summer returns to Toronto for the 144th year of its existence. The Canadian National Exhibition opens at 10AM tomorrow morning for another amazing year. This year, the CNE will include seven new rides alongside recurring favourites, including a brand new roller coaster called The Outlaw and an over 45-metre tall Superwheel, which is the first and largest observation ride of its kind to grace Toronto's skyline! This year will also include a fountain show called Sparkling Symphony, which boasts geysers of water shooting dozens of metres up in the air, synchronized with music and illuminated by lasers at night. Other attractions include the nightly drone show, a skating and acrobat show that features Olympian Elvis Stojko, food trucks and craft beer, and a bandshell performance lineup that includes Amanda Marshall, Dionne Warwick, and Kardinal Offishall. You can buy your tickets online or by clicking the button below in my newsletter.
