Dear friends and neighbours,

I hope everyone enjoyed the last long weekend of the summer! As the kids go back to school let us all be mindful of the speed limits in the school zones and respect the crossing guards who keep our children safe daily.

I would like to update you on the delay of Artscape's receivership. The City has stepped in and with the support from TD, Artscape's receivership has been delayed for at least 30 days. A working group has been established to develop a sustainable solution. I will continue to update you as we gather more information.

Thank you everyone who submitted their feedback on the "Updated Long-Term Financial Plan" survey I posted last week. Your thoughts on the new taxes and levy's proposed is greatly appreciated and will factor into how I voted on the items.

As a reminder, the Mount Dennis For all Community Action Plan will be this evening at the Learning Enrichment Foundation. I look forward to seeing you there!
