Dear friends and neighbours,

On Monday, September 18th, the City will be hosting a community consultation meeting regarding a significant development proposal at 2636 - 2654 Eglinton Avenue West and 1856 - 1856A Keele Street. Your input and feedback are important in shaping the future of our community, and I encourage your participation in this important discussion. Join us at Greenborough Community Church at 7 p.m. to ensure your voice is heard in the decision-making process. You can also find more details regarding this proposal in the community notice in the Community Projects section below.

The Weston Village Residents’ Association are asking our community to look at the survey created with a compilation of great project ideas that could possibly be funded through development fees. Please take a few minutes to scroll down to my Community News section take the survey and provide your opinion. The survey will close tomorrow at 11 p.m.

As Legion Week approaches from September 17th to September 23rd this year, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 31 – Mount Dennis invites you to kick off the celebrations at their Open House and Troops Fundraiser on Sunday, September 17th. Join your community for a day filled with camaraderie, live music by Dr. J and Friends, an Honors and Awards ceremony, and delightful dancing accompanied by a light buffet. It's an excellent opportunity to meet new friends, discover the benefits of Legion Membership, and all individuals aged 18 and above are welcome to attend.

A brand-new business is set to open its doors, bringing fresh energy and opportunities to our community. I invite all of you to join me on Saturday at 12 p.m. for the grand opening celebration of the Thrive Hive Studio in Weston Village. Let's come together to support this new local business and foster a stronger, more vibrant neighborhood. Your presence would make this event truly special, so I hope to see you there as we celebrate our community's growth and potential!

This Saturday, September 23rd, the Humber River Pals will be hosting an environmental initiative to clean up our beloved Humber River. I am extremely happy to see our Community come together to take care of our local environment and waterway. The group will be meeting at the Cruickshank Park Parking lot (across the street of 37 Little Ave). All cleanup supplies will be provided and you can find all the details below in my Community Events section.
