A new park has been proposed as part of the development at 6 Lloyd Avenue. Residents are invited to participate in a virtual survey, which will run from Monday, December 13 to Monday, January 10, 2022.
Overnight Work on Weston Road
As early as Monday November 29, 2021, Weston Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction north of Eglinton Avenue West. Lane reductions on Weston Road, north of Eglinton Avenue West will only be in place overnight. This work is expected to take place on Monday - Friday between 8:00 pm–6:00 am for approximately five nights.

Health Canada has approved the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for kids aged 5–11. Children are eligible for an appointment if they turn five before the end of the year. Currently, vaccination appointments are available through the Government of Ontario website, and soon they will also be available at local pharmacies, participating family health teams, and school vaccination clinics.
Forest Management at Amesbury Park
Urban Forestry will be removing invasive trees in Amesbury Park, as described in the attached briefing note. The work is scheduled to begin as soon as the week of November 29, 2021. This notice will be posted at multiple entrances into Amesbury Park.
Lane Restrictions at Weston Rd and Eglinton Ave W
As early as Monday November 25, 2021, the intersection at Eglinton Avenue West and Weston Road will be reduced to one through lane in all directions. Left turns will be restricted, and the northbound TTC bus stop located on the southeast corner will be relocated north of Hollis Street. Work is expected to take place on Monday – Friday between 7:00 am–5:00 pm for 3 weeks.
Lane Reductions at Black Creek Dr
As early as Monday November 22, 2021, crews at Mount Dennis Station will begin permanent traffic light installations and activation at Black Creek Drive and Eglinton Avenue West. To facilitate this work safely, northbound, southbound, eastbound, and westbound traffic will be reduced to one through lane at the intersection. This work is expected to take place on Monday – Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. for 1 month.

UPDATED: Hollis St Road Closure for Sewer Installation
As early as Tuesday, October 26, 2021, crews will begin performing storm and sanitary sewer installations along Hollis Street. Hollis Street will be closed to all vehicular traffic, including resident vehicles, for approximately three months. Property access will be maintained via sidewalks.
Traffic Configuration Change on Eglinton Ave W
As early as Thursday November 11, 2021, a new traffic configuration will be implemented on Eglinton Avenue West between Weston Road and Black Creek Drive. One lane of through traffic will be maintained in each direction. This temporary traffic configuration is expected to remain in place through January 2022.
Partial Road Closure on Buttonwood Ave
From November 10 to 12, a portion of Buttonwood Ave. will be closed as construction workers are working to install and connect utility lines to the new West Park Healthcare Centre hospital.

On Monday, the Government of Ontario removed capacity limits in the majority of settings across the province where proof of vaccination is required. Lanes Shifting on Eglinton Ave W for Phase 2 of Milling
As early as Wednesday October 27, 2021, crews will continue milling works on Eglinton Avenue West between Black Creek Drive and Bicknell Avenue. While the work is ongoing, eastbound traffic will shift to the south side of the road, and westbound traffic will shift to the north side of the road. This work is expected to take place on weekdays between 7:00 am–5:00 pm for approximately three days.
DELAYED: Eastbound Traffic Lane Closure on St Clair Ave W
A Toronto Water contractor will be completing an emergency repair to damaged catch basins along St Clair Ave W. This repair will require full closure to eastbound vehicular traffic on St Clair Ave W from Keele St to Old Weston Rd, starting at 9:00 am on Friday, October 15, 2021 until 9:00 pm on Friday, October 22, 2021. To minimize long-term traffic disruption and congestion, the repairs will commence on a 24/7 basis.
Weston Road Drilling Activities
Metrolinx will be completing a Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) on the properties located at 139-153 Weston Road, Toronto. During the Phase 2 ESA, groundwater monitoring wells will be installed by Licensed Drillers and a drill rig will be in operation. Metrolinx has scheduled to complete the monitoring well installations on October 23, October 24, October 28, October 29, October 30 and October 31, 2021 (all day).
Lane Reductions on Eglinton Ave W at Caledonia Rd
As early as Friday October 22, 2021, eastbound traffic on Eglinton Avenue West at Caledonia Road will be reduced to a single thru lane to facilitate construction work. The northbound left turn at the intersection will be restricted for the duration of this work. All pedestrian access will be maintained. This work is expected to take place between 7:00 am–5:00 pm for approximately 4 weeks.
